We are looking for a project manager in road maintenance for the Swedish Transport Administration, stationed in Gävle.

This is a consulting assignment.

The position is part-time, with a workload of between 50-70 percent.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The assignment includes leading projects related to road maintenance. The specific projects may vary over the contract period and can include, for example, smaller construction contracts such as fence replacements and drainage, Allé contracts, paving contracts, and BAS contracts. Responsibilities

• Drive, lead, and coordinate the work in the project in accordance with established working methods and governing documents.
• Together with the project organization and central support resources, initiate, prepare, and be responsible for the implementation and follow-up of the project/projects concerning time, cost, content, quality, safety, work environment, and environment.
• Ensure that necessary operational meetings are held. Examples include construction meetings, start-up meetings, and production meetings.
• Be responsible for following up and analyzing errors and disturbances in the road facility.
• Ensure that the need for actions in the facility is documented and included in the relevant plans for the business.
• Participate in the preparation of tender documents and procurement of contracts.
• Be responsible for external contacts with the public, municipalities, and other stakeholders within the project.
• Support other departments within your VO as well as other VOs, based on technical competence and knowledge of the facility's status.

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

• a. Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• b. Experience working in project groups where coordination has been important.
• c. B driver's license.
• d. At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager in the relevant technical area (Project Manager for public roads). The work experience should not be older than 10 years.
• e. Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area.
• f. Have completed training to function as the Client's construction work environment coordinator, BAS-P and BAS-U.
• g. Have current practical knowledge in Contract Law as well as AMA construction and MER construction.
• h. Requirement of at least 2 years of work experience as a project manager for maintenance contracts on public roads, including follow-up of winter measures.
• i. Requirement to have led the preparation of tender documents, procurement, and implementation of at least 2 contract procurements as a client.
